Glorious mags.

They're factory in my SA EMP 9mm. Beautiful stainless steel. My factory SW Shield mags cost more, and have the appearance of recycled lawn chair furniture pot metal mixed with bubblegum in comparison.

I own many Mec Gar magazines and have never had any trouble with any of them. They are good to go and there are several factory guns that are supplied from the factory with Mec Gars.

I use Mec Gar in my Tanfoglio Witness 45 ACP and have no complaints.

Okay, okay, okay. I tentatively retract my statement that my CZ compact failed with Mec-gar compact magazines. I just cleaned the gun and found a problem. The trigger tensioner U spring was out of position. I think in cleaning it before I pulled it out of position on one side such that it rested against the trigger bar. Factory magazines are narrower and would allow clearance, but MecGar mags are a bit wider so they would press the spring end against the trigger bar.

Pushing that spring back down solved the problem. The Mec-gear mags are wider and don't slip arround like the factory mags, but they do appear to work when that spring is in the correct position.

Regardless, always check your gear.

My CZ didn't come with OEM mags. All mine are Mec-gar and of the best quality.

As others have said, MecGar is good stuff. As good as any, if not the best for many arms.

Mec Gar is good. Sig's comes with Mec Gar mags.
