Ak and Ar pistol

It's business, when something is scarce the price goes up. When something is limited the prices go sky high. Think registered full auto RDIAS, lightning links, etc. Since you can't make any new ones legally you pay thousands for a tiny part you can make at home. You get caught with home made parts and you go to jail. Everyone has to make their own choice on how much they are willing to pay and/or risk.Comment

Clearly you don't know what you're talking about.
You don't have to have the "buffer tube sticking out"
They have "real purpose" and "practicality"
They're useful in all the same ways SBR's are useful. If you don't think SBR's are useful, then I don't know what else to say other than there are 10's of thousands in the Police and Military community around the world that would disagree with you.

I honestly think these are the things people say to justify having one, I got no problem with people wanting them because they are tacticool. The firearms hobby should be fun, but yeah it’s so much better to clear my house with yeah no not buying that.SBRs are far more maneuverable than 14.5/16” carbines. I’ve shot with both on very long range days and even being in reasonable shape the better balance and lower weight of the SBR makes it easier to keep on target. It is also drastically better for maneuvering inside for home defense than a 16” barrel.Im a warmonger baby, I got blood in my eyes and I'm looking at you.Comment

Your logic is flawed. I have owned both at the same time and IMO they are near equal.Like I said when people want to pretend they have a SBR. Don’t get me wrong an SBR is a very useful weapon, but an AR pistol as a ‘Pistol’ is a waste.
I just don’t see any advantages to a AR pistol ‘SBR’ over your standard 14.5/16 AR carbine. Yeah it looks cool, but that’s about it.
Crossing state lines is huge and a solid bonus with a pistol. . With the advancement of the SBA4 it is 90% of what a true SBR is today. This is not up for debate or opinion. Have you owned both at the same time and compared them at a range at 100 yards or 300 yards? I bet the answer is no. So you cannot comment or understand what a lot of us free state folks have owned or experienced. You just don't know. And maybe you have. But you clearly have not owned or used an SBA4. You have admitted that already. The SBA4 is a game changer. Period. We don't have to justify anything. Fact is fact.
Not only that if a year from now you have to have a stock you register it. Simple and it's been as fast as a 90 day wait time not a year or more like so many folks think. Those are the folks that have never registered anything or gone through the process, which is 98% of California gun owners.Last edited by Endless; 06-15-2020, 10:37 AM.Comment

You need to pick up the SBA4 for both of those. It's the closest Californians can get to an SBR today.Clearly you don't know what you're talking about.

Then when you move to a free state and you actually purchase an SBR you will realize how close they really are.
And I agree with you. There are pros and cons for pistols and SBRs. But for anyone to say pistols are a complete waste has clearly never owned one with an SBA4 brace.Last edited by Endless; 06-15-2020, 10:44 AM.Comment
