An ethical and moral police force would either march in and end the mob rule or would walk off the job. I don't like seeing this either, but as I understand it, the mayor drew the line and had the police withdraw from that area. The police take orders, and those orders resulted in the occupied area.

I've been thinking the same thing too and wondering if there will be some type of class action suit when this is over. We know, however, that the police have no legal duty to protect us. I wonder if that would provide enough cover for the city to hide behind.

I also wonder what would happen if someone in the zone shot someone and claimed they had no choice since the city and the police have abandoned them.

i am betting nothing is going to happen until after the elections in November and allegations of voting corruption by the democrats fans the flames of civil unrest. Then we will see who is willing to defend their homes and property in this state against the politicians and cops who are going to be even more exposed by November.
