    Bad experiences with Grabagun

    Good afternoon everyone,
Just wanted to post this and see if anyone's had any bad dealings with Grabagun. I was on their site getting ready to order some magazines for my rifle that need replacing. Items were at a really good price so threw a few into the cart.

Went to checkout and was putting all the info needed and then the next page refreshed and the prices for each mag went up two dollars. I contacted them via live chat and talked to a Tom A. and he basically told me...sorry for the inconvenience...

I then asked if they were even gonna honor the lower price since they were already in the cart during checkout...they said nope, sorry. I asked if they seriously were not gonna honor the lower price and that that's not how you conduct business. The chat was ended right then and there on their end.

Total ****ing bull****, made a complaint and probably will not be conducting business with them again. I've ordered from them in the past and have never had that happen. Anyone else deal with them and have a negative experience?

      Positive experience also

Supply and demand, at least they had them in stock, a few dollars, I wouldn't care about that

Yep...that's life online. Adding items to your virtual cart doesn't guarantee price or inventory availability. If the prices were "really good" as you said, I hope you didn't let $2 stop you from getting what you want.

I had a positive experience, shipping was a little slow but not a big deal.

                      Big Negative for grabagun.

I called in an order for a Ruger PCC 9mm (American flag model) with threaded barrel. I wanted to speak with the CSR and to tell them to just hold the 17rd mag, since it was not worth my time/money for my FFL to block a Ruger mag, since I would strictly run Glock mags.

Later that day, I get an email from the manager that they are cancelling my order because, by policy, they don't ship centerfire semi rifles with threaded barrels to CA. This rifle had a thread protector. He acknowledged that the thread protector did not make it an AW, but he said it's company policy and there were no exceptions to be made.

F 'em sideways. I ordered the same rifle from gunbuyer.com without any issues. I'll never throw them a penny ever again.

When I was buying 10/22 mags a while back in three packs, I usually bought them from GaG. The price fluctuated from $28.xx to $31.xx, often the same day. I've probably bought 15-20 packs off and on, using various means of alerting me when it's $29 or less. Something I learned to due during the ammo panic of 6-8 years ago. It's their way of doing business. No, I've never had it change while checking out. It never takes me longer than ten seconds to check out, also something I learned to do during the ammo panic of 6-8 years ago.

I am puzzled by people who have a history of good service from a company, sometimes over years, and then with one fubar transaction that company is suddenly Satan incarnate.

They were the last company to deliver my freedom week mags but they got it done.
