Hide your email address in your Calguns profile, unless you have some compelling reason to expose it to the world.

Don't send texts or emails. Use the board PM system. Not a guarantee, but at least it's all there and forces the scammer to have an account.

I've done a transaction or two so here is my two bits.

How long have they been a member? What's their itrader feedback say about them? Read the comments left by other members.

Before spending / sending any money GET A CELL NUMBER !!! Call them & ask questions. Be polite / respectful but get answers. Don't be shy. Not happy with the conversation? Thank the person for their time and PASS !

Things have changed in this world and most certainty in the Marketplace.
