Was at the bend yesterday. Pick up a lot of trash, but there are 1000's of shotgun hulls there. I only had limited time to sight in 2 riffles and check newly installed sights on a Glock. Picked up trash till I had to hit the road for a meeting. Plan on giving the area a good rack and shovel clean next trip.

Took my friends there who helped pick up brass, hulls and trash after shooting. Someone picked up the used black powder patches with soot on it. They didn't know any better, didn't think I'd have to tell them to not touch biodegradable stuff, but it ruined a batch of brass. I'm not spending time to deep clean the tarnished brass....Comment

Hey, all. Here it is 6 years after my initial question about this area and I haven't been back since. Anything new about the area? Still available as a place to shoot? An earlier reply mentioned something about a spot to shoot at distance. I have a couple long guns I need to put some rounds through.
Where abouts in relation to the usual places would I look? I have a 4X4 so I can get out there if need be. Thanks!Comment
