The patch on his arm is from the Argentine Armed Forces.

The camouflage on his rifle is white medical tape.

I think you are spot on. I don't think I have anything really to add or correct other than the scarf looks like an inside out Palestinian keffiyeh. The harbor freight gardening gloves make me laugh. Your photo is much tougher and let's proceed to tackle it!

To move this along I guess I could give a hint to the second Photograph by saying this Army has usually (or at least in the past) had the majority of their firearms supplied from American civilians, except for the time Qaddafi gave them a bunch of high powered equipment, and one load of it got caught being unloaded onto their countries beaches.

I heard tall Tales that they began with almost nothing, including a broken Smith & Wesson revolver that they had to manually rotate and index the cylinder before firing.

Almost positive this is the IRA. Sorry, not familiar with all the different IRA subgroups. Camo looks like british DPM and the rifle looks like some american fudd stuff and the shotgun on the loft is some sort of mossberg.

^ Close enough!!! That is actually the "New IRA" .( but don't call them that to their faces, it's mostly what the British call them to insult them, because they're not as powerful as they once were. Supposedly.)

And you're right the shotgun on the left is definitely a Mossberg and the rifle on the right is some type of Mauser action with a bipod and a high powered scope.
