Be very careful on which FFL you use during these prolonged DROs periods. Some FFLs will refuse to release the firearm if the status is undetermined by the DOJ after 30 days. So make sure you check what their policy is.

I have a firearm locked up at Turners right now and if it isn't approved within the week I will pretty much lose out on my DROS fees, since they are one of those FFLs that will not release under undetermined. So imagine what will happen if it was a PPT.

I was going to say that probably a number of people are doing PPT's the old fashioned way, as they have been doing for generations, and will continue to do so. It is their choice, and none of my business. I'm sure that the Mothers of Calguns will chime in shortly.
