I have a old Wolf range bag that isnt huge but I can either use the sleeves it came with or take some out and can fit several one pistol cases into it,I pretty much just use the sleeves to reduce weight since I usually have boatloads of ammo stuck in there as well.

Custom cut padding... And of course, I only bring one (1) gun to the range. Below with a spare guide rod and a "dry fire cord."

Of course, if I am with my kid, I will bring "his" gun, as well.

Well, I am a bit spoiled. The local range is about 5-10-mins' drive from home and is open until 11pm. I can practically go back-and-forth.

Do you guys just run the cheap 'sleeves' to keep them from bouncing off one another, just toss them in, or is there another solution?

            Thanks
I just toss em in. Except for a few select pieces, all my guns are just guns.

We had a regular pistol competitor in the OP's situation.

He always had something in that range bag that prevented him from carrying more than
2 handguns in the same range bag successfully.

              Solution:
He brought along his wife or teenage son or daughter to the Range and collectively they
              got it squared away, eventually.

My wife bought me a funny backpack years ago with a built in divider section for pistols
Buying a safe and sane firework is like paying a hooker for a hug. I do not see the appeal in it.

MidwayUSA has a huge selection of gun rugs.

I use the pistol sleeves from Midway USA. Not too bulky, nicely padded and easy on the wallet.

                      I use the following:

Midway Tactical Pistol Case with mag pouches - about $17.00 if on sale. Good for Steel Challenge or range time with many mags.

LAPG Pistol Case - about $7.00 -$9.00 if on sale. Good for indoor range or where you only need a few mags.

The LAPG Pistol Case is a foam padded case that will protect your pistol and hold extra magazines, ammo and gear.

You can use either of these as stand alone cases or they will fit in some range bags. Additionally, you may consider different specific bag colors for different guns or calibers.

I use Bore Stores and Midway USA's knock-offs.

The Bore Stores are superior in quality.

i'm cheap so i use bubble wrap and cardboard to separate the staple gun, masking tape, see through targets, magazines, earmuffs and others.

+1. I use Bore Stores anyway and their padded enough that you can put several guns together without having to worry about things. They're a little pricey if you've got a lot of guns but worth it in my opinion.

$20 Plano hard case. I can fit 6 pistols easily. Locks with a standard cable lock.

Wrap 'em in a small hand towel.
