I lived in ATL in the 90's, Opening a few restaurants, l stayed for a few years, loved it. Catch myself thinking about moving back at some point. What brings you to ATL that frequently?

I moved from CA to GA. Bring yer guns. Your question proves how conditioned you are to living under a large oppressive bureaucracy.

You won't understand how many stupid laws you live under until you are free of them. It's like explaining water to a fish.

The decompression takes a while. You will gradually feel lighter and lighter.

That's the Liberty you have always heard about.

If you don't want to play the part of Ned Beatty in "Deliverance" , I'd learn a few basics, first.

        - BBQ is its OWN food group
        - Bill Elliott is KING, and his son Chase is the crown prince of GA. If you DON'T know them, research them. NOW.
        - You can GO shooting on Sundays. In the afternoon. AFTER church. And NOT before.
        - The Georgia Bulldogs are the national pastime of GA. Unless you're an engineer; then it's Georgia Tech
        - "MARTA" stands for "Metro Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority." I'll let the good ol' boys teach you the OTHER definition of that acronym.
        - Georgia has BOTH kinds of fishing - bass AND catfish.
        - Sell off ALL your ten round mags and goofy CA compliant crap, BEFORE you leave. Otherwise, the locals will ask you, what's the purpose of a ten round doorstop.
        - NEVER... EVER... use "purty" and "teeth" in the same sentence. EVER.
        - Atlanta flirts with pro hockey from time to time. NEVER mention this, or they'll think you're a Yankee (which is actually LOWER than being a "Californian" in the Confederacy).
        - Like any good prize fight, it goes 15 rounds. The War of Northern Aggression was ONLY Round... 1... in GA.
        - Own a LEAST one model '94 Winchester. This shall be the back window rack pickup gun. You do need to own one box of ammo for it, but NOBODY will take you seriously, if you don't have at LEAST one Model 94. IN your truck.
        - Robert E. Lee's birthday is STILL a national holiday in GA.
        - Golf only "matters" during the week of The Masters.

KNOW these things, as part of the shooting community in GA, and you'll be just fine. Oh - and put a Trump bumper sticker on your vehicles. And never, EVER, mention "Californians," unless you preface that word with, "Damn."
