Plan on moving from CA to GA

Hey guys thought I would post here because I wanted to get a second opinion on moving my firearms from CA to GA. From my research I can just bring them, but just wanted to make sure. Do you guys know specifically if I have to do anything legally?

I don't know anything about Georgia's gun laws but you should be able to find what you need on their DOJ website.

If you own any offer roster handguns, sell them/leave them back here with us behind enemy lines. When you get to Georgia you can buy whatever you want.

Sell the off rosters. It is your patriotic duty. I sold all of my off rosters I could before I left, and would have sold the rest but for the five transaction sale cap.

Pretty sure all your 10 rounders are illegal in GA for guns that can accept >10. Only standard caps allowed.

Sell your off roster pistols and 10 round mags in CA.
Take that money to GA and get an SBR with a can!

This. My daughter married a guy from Georgia and we went there in July for a reception.
We stepped outside of the hotel we were staying at an she exclaimed, "Holy hell, how does anyone live here!" I hadn't felt that kind of heat and humidity since I was in Panama.

You will be fine in Georgia. It doesn't get that humid or hot (no Panama Canal humidity at all)and definitely doesn't get cold.

I am in ATL about 7-8 weeks a year. Freedom/humidity > Cali hahaha
