    Amazon does the same thing. When an item is sold out except for one of the item they jack up the price of that one remaining item bigly. Hoping some rube is willing to pay that extreme price (and them profiting handily) because he/she doesn't want to wait for the next shipment of that item to come in that restocks the inventory.

    I'd wait to buy any ammo till the supply and demand issue is resolved.

            Went to a shop I rarely go to today... because they were, open.

            PLENTY of interesting rifles on the wall, INCLUDING a Romanian RPK, some SCARs and a couple of ACRs.


            DECENT supply of PMAGs (30 rounders), STANDARD capacity tupperware mags, and lots of common and new pistols.


            But NO ammo, no STANDARD AK's, and NO AR's. INTERESTING...
