    If gun stores are essential......

If gun stores are essential then aren't guns and ammo essential items?

And if guns and ammo are essential items then shouldn't they fall under the same legalities regarding price gouging? Stores asking $400 for 1000 9mm when prior to the pandemic you could get it under $200?

Is it the store or the suppliers? Stores may have their hands tied. But it would be nice to see reasonable prices.

For us, it's the distributors. What I was told was at least for one of my distributors they are now two months out from being able to buy ammo so they raised all their prices to bridge the gap. I actually didn't buy any because they wanted 350 per 1k of 9mm. They sold out in minutes.

Apparently my $400 used Glock is worth $800 too.

Actually your $400 used glock is worth exactly what someone else wants to pay.

We have all been through this time and time again. I paid $1 a round for m855 when I first got my ar. I've overpaid on countless items over the years. I dont fault the stores or the distributors. Fortunately I'm not in the market this time around. I'm happy that there is a surge in demand, and I'm happy that the majority seems to be coming from new owners. I welcome all the new law abiding gun owners.

It wasnt that many years ago that a 100 rd box of WWB was $30. I dont see what the big deal is. If you dont have ammo pay any price. If you do have ammo, consider yourself fortunate and sit back and enjoy the ****show.

To answer the old question of: Is it worth it to reload ammo? YES!

Then my glock 17 gen 1 is worth 800 or no sale and my 9mm for sale is worth 14 bucks a box. Anyone who was late to the party can pony up or learn to fight. I am stocked up on reloading supplies.

We have an election later this year, too. If polls started to go in the democrats favor.....it will probably ratchet up to DEFCON panic level 1.

Looks like someone may have some takers on Sig's new US Army pistol for $1800...maybe I should sell the pair I have, I probably need the money more if they are worth that much.
