PRK Arms in Fresno told me their safes were FULL and they had ZERO room for any guns left, but when I slyly asked if they would sell me a new one, they agreed. I laughed and walked out at that point and will not be returning. I understand being busy, but don’t lie to me like a little *****.WTB Oakhurst stamped CZ firearms

Think about it...they sold all their inventory...and had usual PPT's etc in their safes as well... they probably are out of inventory.
I know my LGS is out of its limited gun safe capacity also.. I was aloud to go in back and see.
Blame the;
- the voters who vote for the democrats that passes the now useless 10 day wait
- the democrats and pollyanna's desperate to own their first firearm now
- all the cheap morons who supported the big retailers over price and wonder why the little guys don't have the inventory or infrastructure to service them now.
- all the short sighted people wanting service / product now as if there is nothing going on."Extremism in defense of liberty is no vice. Moderation in pursuit of justice is no virtue." ----Sen. Barry Goldwater

I may be wrong, but I believe that doing a PPT is a requirement of having an FFL. I believe it's required by state law. They also cannot restrict the hours in which they do the personal to-person transfer.
Somebody who is more knowledgeable may chime in on this.sigpic

No gun shop can do PPT's unless they have the storage space in their safes to hold the gun for 10 days.
Theth also, by federal law, have to be able to securely store all firearms, both their own inventory and customers, in a safe every night. I can only imagine with all of you people will be saying if somebody took in more guns than they had safe space for and customers guns were stolen.
Federal law dictates that once an FFL can no longer securely store firearms, his own or customers, he can no longer take any more in. That's federal law that will trump any state requirement of doing PPT's.Federal law dictates that once an FFL can no longer securely store firearms, his own or customers, he can no longer take any more in. As long as an FFL has secure storage space they can continue doing PPT's, but if you run out of space in the storage area that was approved with your FFL by the feds you can't take any more guns. Why can't any of you people understand that, or wait most of you don't have safes anyways ...
Are you morons are also not thinking about any incoming orders that an FFL may receive of new inventory that also Hass to be stored in the same secure areas. A gun shop that runs out of inventory is still emptying their safes because of daily pickups, so I would bet some gun shops do have the space to take on more PPTs.Comment

And all those LGS's have to have space for any oncoming inventory of new guns so they can sell more to the public...it is far more complicated than most of these idiots are capable of comprehending.
If all these cheap fcuks supported their LGS's more, then all the LGS's would have had to have larger secure space..no the gun community is reaping what it has sown.
I have three full gun safes and there are no guns I currently need / want and can get in this state. I planned ahead a long time ago. I think watching/reading about all these little minions running around expecting business as usual from LGS's/people they have never supported before would be funny if it wasn't so pathetic."Extremism in defense of liberty is no vice. Well, technically, PPT's could be done during normal operating hours, but both Dom's and J&R are closed indefinitely by order of the Livermore PD. They are only accepting appointments for pickups and new buyers. All their slots were full.
I was at Dom's yesterday during my scheduled appointment slot and a new buyer taking his FSC put down a wad of cash on the table and wanted any pistol in 9mm. All they had left were 3 two-tone Springfield XD for $575. Not a bad price for these troubled times.Comment

I drove an hour to do a ppt as the seller and was turned away not because they weren't able to do it, but because he said I didn't have a Real ID, passport or birth certificate. My DL doesn't say "Federal Limits Apply" and I presented my DL, FSC and truck registration!!!This shop wanted me to present everything one would need as a buyer, even though I was the seller. This is ****ING ridiculous!!! Wasted my time, and I took time off work, so wasted my money as well. Never dealing with that "Unknown" Firearm shop in Oceanside again. ****ING amateurs.Comment

This, or head North to Glaser Arms Brentwood and Hook Line Sinker OakleyTheres Ffls that will give any excuse not to do Ppt. And when and if they do it's a total cluster...
Theres a reason I only do Business at 2 Ffls
Doms and J@Rs in Livermore. Both are easy to deal with and J@Rs should be training other Ffls how to do a Ppt. 15 mins or less in and out.sigpicOriginally posted by dunndealStop digging.iTraderOriginally posted by BrassCaseI only buy fireworks from Three Finger Willie over at One Eyed Jack's Fireworks.
