Getting “Extra” Ready

I clean my firearms in the back yard 10-20 at a time. Not now since it has been raining for days. I have food/water but am running low on diet coke for my rum.
I rarely have a need for eggs but do wish I had some milk.
I am starting an exchange program. Depending on what it is and the condition I will trade 1-3 rolls of Tp for your firearm. No AR type wanted.A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.

Tell the pharmacy or doctor that you lost them. They will Rx another batch.
If you are on long-term meds, always refill at earliest date; over time you will have way more that a thirty day supply.Comment

It has ALREADY been proven - for DECADES, with OLD magazines (newer silicon/alloy springs are EVEN better!) - that LOADED mags do NOT lose their "springiness."
Ergo, NOW is the time (if you didn't do it YEARS ago) LOAD ALL YOUR MAGS!!!
When the BOOGAFLU starts, you DON'T want to be yelling at your wingman, "LOAD me some more mags!!!" You WANT to say, "Pass me ANOTHER (loaded) mag, please!"

or tell them you are traveling overseas. although this might not work with all the travel bans.
i guess you can tell them you are self isolating so you want some extras just in case.Originally posted by leelawBecause -ohmigosh- they can add their opinions, too?Originally posted by SoCalSig1911Preppers canceled my order this afternoon because I called them a disgrace... Not ordering from those clowns again.Originally posted by PrepperGunShopTruthfully, we cancelled your order because of your lack of civility and your threats ... What is a problem is when you threaten my customer service team and make demands instead of being civil. Plain and simple just don't be an a**hole (where you told us to shove it).Comment

My scripts don't have an "earliest date". It's a 30 day supply. If I refill much before 25 days they'll probably figure something is up. I know they use an algorithm to establish a window, because if I go more than 33-35 days, I get an automated reminder call.Comment

I'd probably have to get the doctor to do it, not the pharmacy. They'll probably make me come in so they can read my bp, etc, not to mention charge me, and it will be at least a month until I get an appointment. If I'm lucky.Comment

Usually it's 7 days for walk in and 10 days for mail
Not included are schedule 2 meds narcotics etc
And given whats going on - just asking may work, say an extra month - if you can afford the cost and as I said not schedule 2Last edited by SW1917; 03-16-2020, 9:06 PM.Comment

I'm in a small town in the middle of nowhere. There had been no panics up till now, shelves full of water and tp. Until tonight. I had to go to Wally's for a prescription refill, and it was like a scene from a post-apocalyptic movie. Zero left in the lunch meat cooler. No water. Canned and frozen foods 99.5% gone. zero bread on the shelves. Employees were moving cases into position to re-stock and people were tearing those open.Comment

Is that all they're buying mostly? I guess it's one time that people would actually want the 48 pack of Spaghettios.Comment
