Just go north on Hawthorne Blvd a few blocks to Cap Tactical. I did a PPT this past Wednesday and was in and out in under 15 minutes.Comment

Panic buying seems to be limited to certain items but the panic in general will definitely hurt the economy. Cancelling sporting events will lose big bucks and most amusement parks are closing and that will cause a big hit to the economy. More people staying home instead of going out and spending money will hurt retailers across the board.maybe a little off topic but my wife asked me is this virus panic buying helping the economy or hurting it

I think the panic will eventually spread to restaurants and fast food places because, after all, people are handling your food. What will that cost the industry?
Obviously, gun and ammo sales are booming but how long before the supply starts to run out? Most gun stores/gun warehouses aren't set up to handle this boom for very long.
The bottom line is that the economy will take a huge hit before this thing is over. And that's exactly what the MSM and left wing Dems want. That's why they're fueling this panic.Last edited by GeeBee49; 03-15-2020, 8:53 AM.

Good thing I have no craving to buy a gun right now. Sounds insane. Even if I had the itch though, there's no way I'll wait that long!Comment

Was just talking to a co-worker of mine like 10mins ago, her and her husband walked into turners yesterday only to find a crazy long line of people doing the exact same thing. She asked me the million dollar question. There were some in the glass that say's "LEO only", why can't we buy those? I chuckled and explained to her. Her response, "That is SO DUMB, they all look the same"!Comment

Of course it would be, and according to off topic news threads on one of the several national Ford F150 truck forums, it is.I wonder if the crazy gun buying is Nation wide.
Anywhere there are folks afeard of the VIRUS here in the U.S. there is a run on what folks perceive will keep them safe..

I would go as far as to say that it could be world wide. Monkey see Monkey doIt takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.
