My friend just tried to buy his first gun at Turner's this morning and this is what he txted me-

"One hour just to take the test, 2 hours to buy a gun, another hour for ammo. No thanks"

Lol shoulda listened to me when I recommended months ago to buy.

Just drove by it on the 605 and the parking lot was really full! This was about 15 mins ago.

Yup - Busy

Took me almost 3 hours to do a PPT on Thursday evening. Store was pretty packed. Lots of new buyers and ammo purchasers. 2+ hours to buy ammo. No wonder the phones aren't being answered.

I just got a call through to the Turner's in Norwalk. I was told there is approximately 150 people in the store right now. When I ask what time they opened tomorrow he said there were at least 100 people in line this morning waiting for the store to open and told me I might want to wait a few days.

The freeways were empty today. Everyone was driving 85-90mph.

Drove past Turner's Torrance.
Line out the door, parking lot (which is very small) had double-parked cars.

Went to Smart and Final for some basics, many shelves bare, workers filling them as fast as they could.
Lines over 10 deep, but I got in a line with a fast checker.
