If your Glock feels too hard and slipery after you remove the tape. Check out the Hogue slip on grip. Fills the palm and the rubber really grips back.

I don’t think it would affect the plastic structure, but I would be afraid it could discolor or give a matte effect. Admittedly I have never tried it. I do believe that Glock frames are commonly prepped for Cerakote by using acetone, but they are about to be painted over.

This stuff is the devil. It is too strong for most plastics. I have seen it melt plastic. Goo Gone is a much safer alternative.

But I would try heat gun or hair dryer to remove the decals, followed by WD-40 to remove the residue. But before I tried WD40 I would try to tack up as much residue as I could with duct tape. Then if needed strip the frame of all parts, and soak in soapy hot water for a few hours, then try using duct tape like a tack cloth again.

I have also used rubbing alcohol on Glock frames with no ill effects. But some sticky residues can laugh off rubbing alcohol. However if Talon says use rubbing alcohol, I would try that first after tacking up as much as I could with strong duct tape.

The hair dryer suggestions are interesting. Per instructions, I used a hair dryer to heat up the decal to make it stick better - and it really works.
