They check magazines when they pull someone over for speeding now? I’ve never heard of that happening. And they confiscate Freedom Week magazines even though they’re legal? This has lawsuit written all over it.

Follow the rules of that particular range and you shouldn't have any issues.

Every time I see this question come up I wonder, why did you buy them if not to use them?

Why? Freedom Week magazines are legal to possess and use.

                    are you really that stupid?
you get pulled over and they ask you if there are any weapons in the car. you have nothing to hide so you say yes. they check your gun bag and find the magazines inside. unfortunately cops are not the best at keeping up with court decisions and there goes your magazines.

So why do you need a 10+ round mag at the range, anyway? I suppose you could say that you need to 'function check' your firearm with it, but otherwise it's just a matter of convenience that you don't have to reload more often?

Thanks all. My main question would be did anyone have a bad experience while using 17 round (standard), or in the case of Ruger 10/22, the 25 rd mags at the range. I am not afraid to use them. But, it is California, and I have seen ignorant pig-headed RO's at different ranges.

My finger gets really tired when I use my 110 round ruger drums.

People have been using ‘Freedom Week’ magazines at local ranges for many years, no issues...
