    Turner's Rancho Cucamonga

    Hello,

I wanted to give a quick shoutout to Kody and Juan over at Turner's in Rancho Cucamonga.

I brought along a family member who is seriously considering becoming a new gun owner. The two gentlemen were very polite and not only made good suggestions, but were also more than happy to show him all sorts of firearms so he could at least get a feel for them.

He now feels very comfortable in being able to walk into a gun shop and ask questions.

    Thank you again!

As much as people crap on Turner's, I've had good experiences the 3 times I've shopped at this location.

Cool, same place that called me a liar! Bunch of blowhards, the whole company.

Try 2A Zone for some real service.

I've gone into detail with my dealings with Turner's before on the forum, not really wanting to hash through all that again but in short I brought some really poor customer service to the attention of the manager. My GF had inquired about a revolver and the guy laughed at her and told her "women can't shoot revolvers well." The manager straight out told me what I was telling him about his employee could not be true.

Here's the kicker, the DM (Brian) used to come in and get coffee at Starbucks and I brought it to his attention and he asked me "what branch?" I told him RC and he said "that can't be, I know that manager and he wouldn't do that..." So basically the district manager called me a liar as well.

You can read my reviews of each Turner's I have visited over the years, RC, Victorville, Berdoo, Reseda. Each one sucks equally except Victorville, they suck double. Look me up on the Google reviews, "L Hall".

You know what OP, they are expensive as well and are terrible in the red tape department. Seriously, in the RC area 2A Zone is great. Ammo Bros isn't great but way better than Turners. I've heard Bullet Barn in Upland is good, but I cannot attest to that as I have never been there. I'm just in the "anybody but Turners" camp and that's a shame.

If you just need to buy one gun, and Turners has what you want... and they were kind to you then just buy that gun, you're only doing it once and you don't know any better so nothing lost. I don't want to see them go out of business or anything, but for those of us experienced at firearms purchasing new and used there are WAY better options than that "take a number" hell.

Good customer service is always a good thing.

Yep, I've had nothing but good service at the Rancho store.
It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

BB has good and attentive CS, but high prices. Like $25/14oz for 700x when its $20/14oz at phillips.

+1000000 for 2a zone. Turners red tape to do a ppt is ridiculous.

Was in a bind over the weekend on a build and needed a castle nut and end plate. Had to pull a number and wait 45 minutes, while I listened to the young salesman tell lies, to buy $10 in parts. Never again.
