There is always a good reason to buy a firearm.

Got my M1 in 308, very shootable and for intents and purposes. No jams after changing out the old main spring. Bought on Gunbroker.

So all those A Team episodes where no one ever got shot by the Mini 14 was actually a correct depiction???
Do not try and bend the spoon, that's impossible. Instead, only try to realize the truth...there is no spoon.

You could fit a nickel on each side of the receiver under the stock. Once it was bedded in a proper stock it shot fine. Right around a minute and a quarter at 100. GunDoc did a nice job on it, it looks pretty much like a heavy barrel 10/22, which is what I was after.

Hum really? I guess you never heard of US Navy 308 garands? I owned one and also a match 308 garand, they run like perfectly and I actually prefer them over 30.06 garands

Please... a moment of silence, for all those car radiators, who sacrificed THEMSELVES, so the bad guys could live another day...

The first Navy 7.62 garands used a insert in a 30.06 barrel. There were some problems with the inserts shooting loose so they were then changed to 7.62 chambered barrels. Absolutely no problems with them.

I am NOT recommending this, but I've run thousands of rounds of 5.56 through mine. No overpressure signs at all. What it does hate is steelcase.

What you need is a Target H&R mini 14 chambered in 30.06 that incorporates a
Chinese made brightly colored disposable polymer 8 shot en-bloc clip.
