An air assault and SWAT storm would be one thing. Some public employee/"servants" telling me to give up my guns would be way different.

That's just it. It wasn't Officer Friendly ASKING for guns. It was Officers Bubba and Buddies pointing their hardware in people's faces DEMANDING them... or else.

Don't get me wrong, I do like cops. I've known a lot (99% good, only 1 bad), and my mother was a reserve officer for a long time. But when they're stepping over the line they way it happened post-Katrina, we're not talking about the GOOD cops I know and love, we're talking about all the bad ones who give the good ones a bad name.

I've got no love or patience for fascists.

Did you check out the videos? The one of the cops piling onto that old lady holding the unloaded revolver? When you're surrounded by missing link-looking guys with guns maybe drawn, you're probably not going to go bitching about your receipt.

Just as an FYI for everyone, the "cops" in that video are CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY PATROL.

Things to remember.

Nagan and crew have stated that if the situation presented itself again, that they would do exactly what they did last time.

Feinstein and Boxer both voted against the law to protect people from this happening again. Something to keep in mind if SHTF and you see a SWAT team prowling your neighborhood.

"You can't do that, it is against the law" is not of a whole lot of consequence when a dozen guys with body armor and F/A weapons kick in your front door.

Very few of the people who had their weapons confiscated have or ever will get them back..

The upside to the events surrounding post Katrina NOLA are.

1. Peoples eyes have been opened to how the government will act/react when SHTF and will plan accordingly.

2. Lawsuits that have been filed may very well wind up in the supreme court, thus forcing them to rule once and for all on the 2A.

The sad part is that little old lady was forced out of her home (which was well stocked with water and food).

She was disarmed and probably put in some hellhole like that Arena to fend for herself....

No thanks, I'll take my chances in my home with my food and water and firearms for protection rather than be disarmed and put in some arena where murders, rapes and violence were happening left and right....
