The most I paid for anything was $0.40/round for xm193. I sold a bunch of things, and wish I had sold everything. I went to an auction in April of 2013, and 5.56 was going for $1 a round, and bulk 22 was $75 a brick. The nice thing is that I got a in box unfired Browning A5 for $300, a Rem 700 7mm mag for $300, and a few other non firearms for good deals because everyone was focused on ammo and AR stuff.
I sold a bare bones AR for $900, and I am pretty sure he sold it to someone else for over $1,000.
Never initiate force against another. That should be the underlying principle of your life. But should someone do violence to you, retaliate without hesitation, without reservation, without quarter, until you are sure that he will never wish to harm - or never be capable of harming - you or yours again.

seems like the most i paid for stuff during that time was some franklin armory ar pmags that had dust covers etc . seems like i paid 36 bucks apiece.i was one of the evil hoarders for ammo so basically for that whole shortage period i bought almost all my ammo at walmarts. i bought 45 acp for 20 bucks a box but also got alot of it at 14 a box.

I didnt buy that much ammo after the shooting i just waited it out.

I do remember a basic ar15 like the MP 15 sport was being bought for $2,000.

What was your most expensive purchase during the panic?

I remember selling 50rd boxes of Wolf 9mm for $20. Got all kinds of hate emails for doing that. AR-15 kits that had cost me $8 sold for $30. Even Pro-Mags were sold out, that says alot. God Bless America!!

Turners seems to have a boost in sales right after each shooting and I’m anticipating another buying frenzy before the election.

Fear sell guns. Sad but that’s the truth!

I didn’t buy any ammo after Obama was ejected. I was lucky to have bought “enough” right before he was elected.

Prices are low right now and ammo isn’t selling. I think the background check turned off a lot of people.
