Yep, if the widow gets half of what the guns are really worth, I'd be surprised.Agreed. And I've seen it countless times and usually doesn't end as well as it could have. But people are stubborn and lazy and don't want to face their mortality.
Or for those that don't have heirs do you really want your stuff to end up with the government? At least leave it to a worthy charity.Comment

An option is Little John's Auction for consignment. They advertise nationwide, bids are from live, phone or internet. They are out of the City of Orange. You can also go check their shop out. They could sell consignment out of the shop or through the auction. Depending on what you have and the demand, the prices they get are pretty good. Buyers pay a premium so the auction is less likely to rip you off.
I am not affiliated with them. I have bought from them and a couple LEO friends act as security at their auctions. I think their next auction is next month.Comment
