The range officers at Angeles may be strict about following the rules but I welcome it because it makes me feel safe. Follow the rules and you won't get yelled at.

That's the other side of a "loose" run range. I haven't shot on the rifle side yet, but have been to the pistol side a few times. On the weekend it was a little crazy, but the weekdays it was ok. I like the idea of being able to rapid fire but not when guys can't seem to do it safely. Guys don't seem to understand shooting straight ahead there from what I have seen. They set their targets up all over and just spray a little too far side to side. It reminds me a little too much of the old Lytle Creek days.

The great thing about Burro is you can rent your own private range. $60 plus $15 for each additional person after the fourth person (I think). Then you can rapid fire, run and gun, tuck and roll or whatever in the safety of your own little berm protected world.

The "no-steel-core" ammo rule is a CA law, I believe. It's a pain but so is having no place to shoot cuz the range keeps catching fire. So please play nicely.

no need to have put idiot "asian" kid. Race has nothing to do with the matter.

There was a guy being a dick to a father and his kid. He was trying to preach about everything and told him he was a bad father.
So i took a prone position and shot his pvc targets legs off with my scoped m1a in 2 shots. He got pissed and got another target later on. He just kept going on and on about how some idiot cant aim and shot his targets off, he then looked at my girlfriend and mentioned "this is a shooting range, you dont need to dress all purdy and get dolled up.. jesus... what are you here for, you're taking up space."

          Guess what I did?

I shot his target in half again and said "GOD DAMN, my aim is totally off aint it bro" He packed up his stuff, mumbled some racist crap and left. he was driving some ragged beat up chevy truck that was rust orange. blue license plate with 2B something. If thats anyone on this board... F' you!

I dont like angeles, they treat you like a 5 year old. I went to a small shooting range in big bear. The range masters there dont get paid, they are all volunteer workers. Guess what? They actually treat you with respect. I was the only asian on the range too and they never looked at me twice!

Never been to BC but it sounds perfect for rapid firing my pistol for COMP. practice.

Did you do anything to warrant such behavior? Or do you think that it was because you're asian? (I'm only asking because in your post, you make it seem like they watch over you more closely because you are asian)

I've been there a few times I have yet to be yelled at or bothered because I'm asian. But then of course, I follow all the rules.

If you were a real badass you would have done it standing with iron sights...

Pulling antics like that, sounds like you would fit right in with the weekend crowd at BC.

Am i going to sit there and remove my scope just to use iron sights? Baddass? no, giving people what they deserve? Yes.

He deserved what he got. You can go ahead and think you're better than everyone else and look down on people who go to BC or those who shoot at angeles. Yea, you're such a great shot... you're the perfect firearm owner I'm so sorry I posted in the same thread as you. Maybe one day I can be a real champ like you.

I havent been pointed out at ACH because I was asian. The reason I mentioned the big bear shooting range was because in a small community like that, race does play a big part in how they treat you. If you arent a regular, small town folk look at you different. The range officials there dont even get paid and they still treated me better than some rangers treat they customers else where.

The rangers have never bothered me much at angeles. The only time was when I double tapped really quick and decided to let off a third round. I swear they acted like i just set off a bomb. They treat me ok and they're friendly, but they treat some people like they're 10 years old. Maybe they need to be treated like they're 10, but they dont need to be rude about it.

Well he was Asian, wasn't he? That just how the man chose to describe his situation.

As far as you feeling that you are being treated differently the local shooting ranges, maybe you should find an "Asian" shooting range...
Remember why we shoot. For good times and practice... Right?

So you decide what people deserve?? Shooting someones target stand?? Oooooo, I'm sure dude had that coming. I think you missed my point entirely. Let cooler heads prevail. One does not **** where others are shooting.

I shoot at BC. But I do look down on a lot of the loudmouth arrogant a-holes who show up on weekends with thousand dollar equipment and cant hit anything except other peoples targets.

If you want a tame environment to shoot in, try Inland Fish and Game. We don't put up with cross shooting, shooting on other people's targets, or other crazy antics. If the RO doesn't say something, one of the many regulars will regulate.

There is no rapid fire at IFG, so if emptying 30 round AR mags as fast you can is how you have fun, then you won't have fun at IFG.

You sound like a real idiot punk. Id like to see you purposely shoot my target and then try to mouth off.

It's important to be safe when you are at a range -- your firing weapons. If you cant wrap your head around that one, do yourself and everyone else at the range a favor -- stay home. When i see people doing stupid ****, i get pissed.

PS he was "asian" so i put "asian" kid. Does that shatter your fragile sensibilities? Get over it.

is that a threat? Idiot punk? you dont even know me let alone ever met me. If you're going to call someone names, atleast have the decency to say it to their face. Name calling over the internet gets you no where.

Who say's i'm not safe when i'm at a range? I've been around guns since i was born, my father started taking me as soon as i was able to walk. My grandfather did the same to my father. I agree with you to some degree, i cant stand kids that rapid fire or dual wield pistols and fire etc. Did anything in my post suggest that I'm unsafe at a range? I follow the rules, i dont talk back to range masters and give respect when it's due. No, i'm not a perfect shot, no dont know everything about guns, but i'm willing to learn and never front like i do know everything or act like i'm a marksman.

As for the asian remark, do you think it was really necessary to add in the race? I dont think others would like it when you mention someones race with the words "idiot" right after it.
