That's the biggest problem with the feedback system. It's not user friendly.

Most people can hardly even navigate to a website without typing the name in google first then clicking on the first link. How do you expect them to use a feedback system that requires them to copy and paste the URL into it manually?

Maybe there should be a POLL to find out if there is way to simplify the "Itrader" use therefor making it more user friendly?

I think iTrader is fine like it is, some people just don't care.

            My guesses:

            Some people don't care.

            Some are "above it."

Some don't want their transactions "traced."

            Some can't figure it out.

I always leave it, good or bad, unless the other party asks explicitly not to receive feedback.

I've left feedback for a couple of people who didn't bother to return the favor. Of course, it's not a huge deal in the grand scheme, however, it is pretty rude--You know who you are BTW

It was difficult to figure it out the first time, but after I got it it was pretty easy. It makes no difference to me if I get feedback or not, but that might just be because I don't do a lot of buying or selling here...or at all.

The first time I used it was a little confusing but after that you get familiar with the procedures.

I noticed its usually the vendors on the site that dont leave feedback, but they are more then willing to get it from you.

LOL because vendors know how vital feedback is for their business, its the same for regular folks making transactions.

I didn't get any feedback even though I left some for the other party. I'm not sure why that is. I do know it's not the most user friendly thing to do. I would however like it so I don't look like a complete n00b

I've done 3 transactions leaving positive feedback with nothing in return. Kinda pisses me off especially on my first few purchases as people are hesitant when you have a 0 score and are a new member along with the old line "I've actually done 2 purchases just no feedback..." I've lost quite a few things here thanks to that.

Oh well.... life goes on and my feedback is getting quite decent.

Whenever I conduct a transaction (whether it's buying or selling here on CG, eBay, or ar15.com), I always follow-up with the other party just to make sure things go as smoothly as possible. Communication is key.

As a friendly reminder, I always inform sellers & buyers that I left a +1 and that I would appreciate the same in return.

So far so good, I've gotten 100% reciprocation (on CG anyhow)...
