One night, about a year ago, I saw a WTS post for a Springfield Scout at a pretty good price and thought ... 'man, I should get one of those'.

And then I thought ... 'wait, I think I own one already.' So I went over the safe to double-check, only to discover that, no I didn't own one.

I own ... two.

$2,000 or $3,000 per rifle or handgun is not very expensive when you start to buy some good shotguns. When I started to buy Perazzi or Krieghoff shotguns, couple of thousand dollars for a gun felt like not much at all.

I bought my first firearm 2 years ago. I now own 7, 2 pistols, 2 shotguns, and 3 rifles. I had to get a bigger safe as well. My last gun was a ground up AR build, and I thought that would be it. I am now looking at a Springfield armory M1A. When does it stop?

My first gun purchase was a WASR 10 - February last year at the cow palace from CWS. At the time the only other thing I had was a hammy-down Mosin Nagant.

Since that pruchase I have brought my collection up to 9 rifles, one shotgun and 5 handguns. When I started with the WASR I thought dropping $499 on a rifle was nuts. My last 4 purchases have all been over $1500. I got the latest handgun no more than 10 days ago and before I got it home I had forgotten about it and was thinking fondly of my next purchase - a 91/30 sniper.

It doesnt. Just start getting used to the idea of being poor LOL.

My wallet has not gotten used to it yet. Every time there is money in it I buy another gun.

+1,000,000 Yeah, I don't think I'm ever going to stop, however, I'm going to slow going to slow down as prices continue going thru the roof......trying to limit myself to no more then 2 a year

Just stop going to the gun stores! Of course I don't even follow my own advice..dropped 4 bills on a 9mm last Sunday even though all I wanted was an 8 dollar part for my reloader.

7 guns in two years? Amature! I think I bought 7 guns in the last two months. That doesn't count the 4 NDS-3s I ordered in March, the flats I just bent or the rifle I built from a flat last weekend! Don't worry, if you try hard enough, you'll get there.
