    Property to shoot on

My brother and I are looking for property to shoot on. I'm thinking about the Lucerne Valley. Anyone else have property out there? Would it be better to look off of Barstow Road or Old Woman Springs Road?

    Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

Look up San Bernadino shooting restrictions and plan accordingly.

Yeah, just dealt with this with some property we purchased (east of 15, south of Barstow). I contacted the BLM which surrounds us on three sides. We were concerned about fire restrictions. This was the response:

      "Good day,

As long as you are north of Hwy 138 and Hwy 18 it is not in the BLM shooting closure area due to fire restrictions. See attached map for more information.

      Very Respectfully,

I'm not sure how to post map attachment... Sorry

        Timo2019,

It would seem the BLM fire restrictions really shouldn't have an impact on your property if you personally own it.

County, City and state zoning or other rules could impact you. But BLM only places restrictions on BLM land.

        Regardless, good info you posted.
