$25 dollars to shoot at an indoor range? Is that pesos or American money?

I went to an indoor range today in Laguna Nigel (ca) to do the paperwork on a ppt. They said I could shoot the gun before my ten days, but obviously couldn't leave with it.

I asked them how much, and they said $25 !! I replied, is that pesos or American money? They were not amused.

    25 bucks seems OUT-FRIGGIN-RAGEOUS.

What are you guys paying to shoot at an indoor range?

The Gun Range, north Sacramento, $17 per person, unlimited time

I haven't been to Sacramento Gun Club in a few years but I recall the prices were similar, they had a 2 hr limit but it was only enforced if there was a wait.

We should set up rent control for lanes.

Sacramento Gun Club website says $17/ hour for the 25 yard handgun range and they do enforce it. $20/hour for the 50 yard rifle range.

If you shoot more than 2 hours per month, it is better to become a member. $34/month for unlimited shooting.

I know you are a member at the Firing-Line. The new non-member rate is $24 to shoot. It pays to be a member.

For a $5 tip, they better be loading my magazines and putting my spent brass in my range bag.

The alternative is ranges close. I'll bet there's plenty of people north & south of SF & along the Peninsula that would be happy to spend that much to shoot indoors for an hour or so. It's been over a year now that Jackson's in SSF closed. That was the only one on that side of the bay.
