      +1 Adams Arms
After running it wet during the break-in period, it's been reliable without any issues.

Like another member said, it's front heavy. It's also easy to disassemble and clean.

This thread is so 2000’s, back when pistons were really in. The fade has faded but I still like them and still own 2, a Adams and a Addax side charger. Both just keep on running.
Im a warmonger baby, I got blood in my eyes and I'm looking at you.

Whatever opinions are given, get any.
My opinion after using a pws and lmt is, the pws is smoother but I think because they use heavier buffers and carriers. They are all heavy. They all shoot.
The pws pro is constructed out of extruded aluminum vs. Forging and milling like some high end many.
Pws pro is a "budget" "entry" level upper to the piston world. Again heavy.
I actually want to buy the brownells br180 but I mean 800 for a throwback proprietary system? Then again almost all piston driven are proprietary. Idk buy any but a adams arms. Ive read tooo much on how the op rod peens or severely being under gassed. Hell a pd somewhere dumped almost all there inventory from the Department because they apparently didnt work. GL.

from what i have read, most say to go with H2-3 buffer weight for the Wolf A1.

the over gassing helps it shoot all ammo reliably, even the weaker powered stuff.

I only have one piston upper, but my PWS Mk111 Mod 2 runs incredibly great. Its really soft shooting. The piston ARs shine especially when shooting suppressed, stays SO clean.

My experience with my Wolf A1/T91 was that a plain jane carbine-weight buffer works fine. No carrier tilt, no damage to the buffer tube nor buffer. Can't comment about it's tolerance for various types of ammo since I've only put my reloads through it. But it's ran my reloads fine. And despite the lack of a deflector wedge, I've never had a problem with errant brass flying in my face. They eject to 4 o'clock just like my other ARs.

LWRC uppers have been good to go for me. Yes slightly heavier than DI.

There are some good deals on them from time to time on their company website.
