I'm not saying that video is fake because I don't know but I'm just a little bit observant and I noticed even when you slow down the video of the door being kicked in, using a reverse/mule kick style (used more frequently by law enforcement and people who watch a lot of cop TV shows than thugs because it leaves the kicker at a disadvantage unless he has some backup with guns pointing Into the now opened door. Also the bad guys kick seemed too low and to the center and that's not the area you want to aim for. ) did not seem to cause ANY damage to the door frame or the two door locks themselves, which normally would break / splinter as the force was applied.

It's almost like the door was unlocked (and the deadbolt was definitely not thrown / locked).

But maybe it's the resolution on my smaller screen and you guys can notice damage to the door frame or either the deadbolt or regular door knob that I'm not seeing.

^ Well, am I wrong on this one?

And if I'm right , what level am I right at?...

          Sherlock Holmes?

          Watson?

          The Warren Commission?

          Or a broken clock?

Maybe they just don't make door frames and locks like they used to?

Maybe this particular thug has kicked in a lot of doors.

Don't be too sure. The quality of 90%+ of door hardware is laughably bad. Especially in what appears to be an apartment. The deadbolt could've just failed at the door rather than the frame. Also, the wimpy little latch on the knob may only engage 1/4" and have no effect when the door got kicked in.

It did look like there was some deformation of the lock on the door side. Either way, cheap lock, cheap door and cheap frame makes breaking in no more difficult than breaking a stick. With most sticks probably being more robust.

I don't think cheap doors and locks were ever good. Ever seen the back door of a lot of old houses? Some don't even have a dead bolt.

In the ASP video, he mentioned there were only 5 rounds in the mag. So keep those mags loaded and tubes full.

                Good thing he took off.

                    Interview with "Mark"

                    Youtube handle, Markskates95, 24yo?

Said he heard knocking but never yelled, "Go Away or I've got a gun F***S"

Probably had friends of friends over for some parties and showed that thing.

Shows us that he has a Ring doorbell and some reinforcements, I guess a mask and going through the window is still possible...

That wasn't very smart of "blue shirt" to walk in front of the armed defender.

Okay, I'll believe that the door knob lock was locked and broke in a way that did not affect the door frame (I'll also agree that door locking Hardware isn't what it used to be) but I still don't see even a cheap deadbolt, having it's bolt snapped in half, without even moving the door frame from the impact of the kick that again was too low and not near the door lock at all.

I'll suggest if some strangers are at your door you should probably throw the bolt on your deadbolt door lock.

Unless you're trying to get views for your YouTube channel.

In some cities you might need to be armed, even when your home.
There was a similar intrusion with the thug videoed breaking the door down.
This was in an upscale neighborhood of Livermore.
