This - exactly. ‘After some range time’ 80% of LE chooses Glock to win fights and protect lives. Same for the US Special Forces community.

How has no one mentioned Glock Shooting Sports Foundation.
I sort of did, without mentioning them I guess.

Yes, I had the choice and chose a Glock 22. 1st duty weapon is on the Dept. Any others is on us. FYI, I am no longer a full-time LEO but this was the case when I left in 06.

As boring as glocks are. They really are a bargain in quality and price which makes them a great prize but really how many of them do you want?

The best is people with used Glocks listed for more than the brand new ones that are up for sale. Good luck with sales...

I had several other brands before I even considered Glock, mostly Sig, but also tried Kahr, FN, Beretta, among others, then I shot a couple of rental Glocks. I was extremely accurate right out the gate. Now I'm up to 5 Glocks with plans for a sixth lol. The bland utilitarian look certainly grew on me after putting some holes in paper with a few. The subcompacts seen to be the most accurate for me and my eyes strange as it may be. The utilization of same caliber magazines across different frames and generations is excellent for my stock of freedom week mags.

Exception here. I have a Glock because nobody else sells a light, concealable, CA legal 10mm.

So I probably won't flip Glock anything in the Classifieds.

I'm on the hunt for a G29 to add to the collection as well

Looks like OP's question has been skillfully answered multiple times yet we just love arguing about Glocks.

They say Glocks are ugly, and I somewhat agree, yet I own and really like 5 of them.

I'm wearing one right now, my G30S and I'm at Church lolll. Everyone have a good Sunday

Glocks are not for everyone but for those who like them buy them and enjoy them. I know people who swear by ruger, S&W, and the list goes on and on. Who cares as long as you have what you want and it is nobody business but yours. if it makes you feel safe then buy it for your own and your family's protection. You need to get off bashing each other's guns and start in on some liberals we all know and dislike.

Nope, you're not missing something. I have no idea what the craze is, but it's there. I listed a gently used Gen 3 Glock 17 for $500 last year and it sold within minutes. I have no ****ing clue why people are so crazy about paying full price for a used Glock, but there you go. I had listed at $500 expecting that I'd be talked down closer to $400, but nope, right out of the gate, just "I'LL TAKE IT" and other guys saying "SECOND IN LINE". It was so bizarre.

I mean, I know that's a tongue-in-cheek comment about fanboys who want to use Glock magazines for everything, but it really does say something about Glock mags that they are so damn reliable and consistent.
