It's a $250 handgun that sells for $439 here. Mine works fine.

The Shield was a surprisingly good gun for me....trigger ok, nice audible/tactile reset, accurate, only mild recoil. I only moved on due to capacity of the G26 and G19.

The 2.0 is supposed to be a little “better”.....

If you’re going to CCW it, you usually need to leave the trigger alone anyway.

I've taught many newbies with new, stock Shields and they seem to hit where they intended without issue.

We're in a diva-level "Gucci" gun world where things like trigger pull matter when they shouldn't for the intended purpose.

^This. I have a Shield and it is intended for use as a extremely low profile EDC for very stealthy concealment. I have one and there is nothing wrong with the trigger. My only issue with it is I have long, narrow hands and it jumps around in my grip. I'm still very accurate with double taps at 10 yards which is much farther than I would expect to be using it for SD/HD.

The biggest problem is the overtravel. That is why non-California Sheild guns have a tab inside the trigger guard to prevent overtravel.

Besides that there is nothing wrong with the trigger.
