I told her about Prop 65 and speculated that the label was there because of the chemicals used to manufacture the pot or possibly due to a fertilizer added to the soil.
So why were you talking to this potted plant?

If it's as easy as slapping a sticker on a product, why hasn't Ruger slapped these stickers on many of their products that suddenly became restricted to California?
            LOL.

RBG must have ignored all the warnings.

I suppose all this is Prop 65 compliant:

I'll give you a terrible bps story. Tried buying ammo online for in store pick up. They wouldn't let me because the address on my card was in sf. So pick up in store is against their rules for sf residents somehow

These goofy laws are a direct result of having a big powerful full time legislature that is inept at solving real problems . We need a Texas type system where they meet every other year. Do the budget and then go home to work.

Another contributing factor is the term limits law that termed out savy and principled statesmen and replaced them with people who don't give a damn. Because they are termed out anyway.

Unfortunately it appears the only way to avoid these people is re-locate to a state led by Republicans.

Prop 65 was a proposition put on the ballot and passed by the retard voters of Kommiefornia, not the politicians. As we all know, the voters of Kommiefornia are, in general, as dumb as a brick and are easily swayed by misleading advertisements and arguments.

Who does Prop 65 benefit? From Wikipedia:

Abuse of enforcement lawsuits has also been a consistent theme of Proposition 65 opponents, who criticize the motives of citizen enforcers. Industry critics and corporate defense lawyers charge that Proposition 65 is "a clever and irritating mechanism used by litigious NGOs and others to publicly spank politically incorrect opponents ranging from the American gun industry to seafood retailers, etc."[41] Critics also note that the majority of settlement money collected from businesses has been used to pay plaintiffs' attorney fees.[42] Businesses paid over $14.58 million in attorney fees and costs in 2012, 71% of all settlement money paid.[43]

The same thing happened to me with Ruger--over a T-shirt.

I called Ruger, and the person I spoke with said that items that come from 3rd party vendors that are not Prop 65 compliant is not Ruger's fault. She said that Ruger cannot apply to get Prop 65 compliance on items they do not make. She was apologetic, and did point me to a nice shirt that could be shipped to CA.

Anyone see a Prop 65 sticker on a new car ? Everything about a car causes cancer .

Maybe get a vanity plate that says " Prop 65".
Bweise says "I have to say the situation was not at all helped by 22 yr old former Airsoft douches who kept touting here, "But possession is not illegal!" "
