    IS TURNERS GOING DOWN?

Have you been in any of the Turners lately? No ammo, guns and not many gun supplys. Customer service is hit or miss, mostly miss. Then they cancel the sportsmans fair:

I am not sure about them - But gun shops in general are having a hard time keeping their shelves stocked with anything -

And they gave the reason to be not enough stock to do the fair - I don't doubt that at all -

Myself I don't think so, but if they are gone next year we can all say we saw the signs of it coming.
I think it's more to people buying anything they can get their hands on.

I would have to agree. I believe that people are just buying up all the ammo/firearms as opposed to them going out of business.....

but I guess you never know.

I was in the Norwalk Turners last week, hadn't been in there in a few months. The place was wiped out dead. I mean literally a dozen rifles and maybe a dozen handgun. Ammo was far and few, mostly just shotgun birdshot #8.

I don't think they are going out of business, I think they are just wiped out and presold on guns.
I think it can be confirmed that an alien xenomorph is absolutely no match for good ole' Alabama black snake!

That's exactly the problem. Turner's was never really good at keeping things really well stocked to begin with, add the buying frenzy and they are getting wiped out. I overheard a Turner's employee talking on the phone about how they received a shipment of like 90 S&W M&Ps and those went out the door fast. I doubt they are going out of business considering they sell practically everything they have.

Raahauge's canceled their spring expo because of ammo availability. This could be something along the same lines.

I thought that myself a while back and posted the same question.

Had a long discussion with one of the managers at Pasadena. They are doing fine and can't keep items in stock. They are sold before they even hit the stores.

                Only time will tell....

Don't look at me - I had requested a Turner's section for their legion of adoring fans -

I hope Turners is doing well and stays around for along time. I've always had good experiences there.
I move slow but I make up for it by shooting poorly.

When I hit the lotto I'm only shooting factory.
