Yeah also got one during FW. VERY reliable and works perfectly, but..... when compared to a 40 round stick mag and a speed loader there is no contest. The drums are crazy slow to load. Never bothered to unload (except by pulling the trigger of course)

Cal.bar what speedloader do you recommend.
In case it wasn't obvious, nothing I write here should be interpreted as legal advice.

This. There is still a hi-cap nuisance law on the books. You can't get arrested, but LE can snatch your chit.

Based on what I've read, seems to be that way. Regardless, I wouldn't want to be a test case.

Maybe not a pain, but it just seemed to take forever. Longer than doing two 30 rounders. I think it's just the tension release that makes it awkward but I got into the groove after a little bit

I know I'm not the guy you're asking... But the ETS Cam Loader was pretty speedy for my AR mags and didnt wear on the fingers. Brass cases 5.56 loads smoothly, but steel cased 7.62x39 was a b*tch to run through that loader.

Bought one of these due to excitement and hype and just because it felt good to buy one freely ... But I have to say for $100 it ain't worth it. It's pretty much a novelty item IMO. I can load 2 PMAG 30s much faster and those 2 pmags only costed me $20. Just my $0.02.

Glad I could help. I sold the D60 shortly and recouped my money. And like you, purchased a bunch of PMAGs instead. Have never looked back since.

Just weighed mine fully loaded with 62gr XM855 and it weighs 2.5 lbs. While it sounds like a lot, when in my Tavor SAR I can hardly feel the difference since it is mostly up against my shoulder. I do love me some bullpups.
