Selling a rifle Q

I want to sell a rifle to someone in norcal, im in socal. Can I just UPS it to a FFL near them? Or do I have to use my FFL to send it to there FFL?

As long as you're shipping it to an FFL, you're good-to-go.

Although I've run into FFLs who only accept shipments from other FFLs.

Speaking from 1 month old experience. If he sends you an ink signed copy of his FFL's paper work you can simply US Mail the rifle to his FFL and then complete the "No Longer in Possession" form from the CADOJ website and mail it in. What Sam says is also correct, there are FFLs who only accept firearms from other FFLs.
