Ammo minimums

I bought over 30k rounds during last two months in anticipation of ammogeddon. But now when I think about this, those ammo plus my old stock are going to sit in my garage for years doing nothing. Such a bad idea of utilizing fund. I could use the money for a jet ski or motorcycle or invest it in something.

A sensible minimum is amount of ammo you need in an emergency situation. Whether it is self defense or training for competition.

Do I have room? Not enough ammo.
Am I out of room? Make more room and buy more ammo.

4 pallets of ammo cans stacked about 4 feet high. Various calibers, but the most is 22lr. Maybe 30,000 rounds.

I need more. I am under the 1,000 rounds/gun. And I just bought 2 more. Should have spent the money on ammo.

I have limited funds. Wish I could have spent more, but happy that I was able to buy some more before July 1.

I shoot once, maybe twice a year. I have the 1000 minimum per firearm as my reserve, plus ammo to shoot with.
