Well it is an explosive, I wouldn’t think it can legally be sold to minors. Hell Walmart still looks at your DL when you buy ammo, no matter how old you look.
Im a warmonger baby, I got blood in my eyes and I'm looking at you.

My guess is they have their reloading components under the same category as ammo in their point of sale system and it just flags everything.

I get carded whenever I buy primer at Home Depot. Maybe she scanned the wrong "primer". Does Sportsman's sell spray paint?!?!

The scannable codes on the card have your address and other info.
So does the printed area. It shows address, age, eye color, etc. If that strip bothers you just run it over a Neo magnet to erase it.

But it is not in their system. The cashier is only looking for the birth date and I doubt they are memorizing the rest to put into some system after I leave.

I have not had this experience yet, but if I do, I will just say " keep it " and leave the store, and depending on any attitude I will likely ask to speak to the manager before leaving. I am 75 yrs now and usually refuse to show my age and ID over such issues. Like cough syrup, over the counter type and they want to slide your DL thru their register screen. I know this is about primers etc but somewhere I believe we need to speak up or refuse to comply.
