A good portion of the state, elected representatives, and all MSM reporters, already view 1,000 rounds as a stock pile no normal person would ever need. Only a gun nut or terrorist hell bent on mayhem.

If you were worried about your guns being on some list in Sacramento, don't think you're not going to be eventually of note if you buy ammo in any great quantity.

Save your breath explaining about competing, training, etc., etc. It will fall on deaf ears.

Currently...
Selling = limited to 500 rounds per 30 days, unless licensed by CA DOJ as an ammunition vendor.
Buying = no limit.
