Like Broker said, sell the parts minus the receiver and then destroy the receiver if it’s a burden to keep.

The cash value of the receiver is insignificant!

They will take a percentage (I think 25%), plus $250.00 to ship it out of state, plus around $75.00 to advertise it.

Unless it's a premium gun like a Daniel defense that's probably what he'll get for it - 300 to 350 dollars

That's pretty steep I wonder what they'd charge if you already had a buyer and just needed them to do the actual transfer?
