I had a feeling they would pull the plug too soon, thats why I bought some last week, the closer it gets to July 1st, the higher the chance they will pull the plug sooner than posted without warning.

If you need to stock up definitely do it now, even if it costs a little more, just get some now at another store.

I just returned from the Simi Valley Walmart and according to them the DOJ has shut down ALL ammo sales in California, not just Walmart.....until further notice. So I bought .177 and .22 pellets instead. So the trip should not be a total loss.

Our new Walmart doesn’t open until middle of August. Will be interesting to see if they will have an ammo dept. Still buying ammo at Big 5.

I bought a little from Walmart on Monday.
The interesting thing was there was 300 blk American eagle. I’ve been kinda interested in it. They had 762x39.. Winchester boxes.

Not to say I should let Wal-Mart dictate my choices but it kinda has. If Wal-Mart doesn’t stock it I kinda don’t want it.

Bought the last box of creedmoor. lol

Kinda wonder why there is no 260 remington or 7mm-08.
I guess just stick with creedmoor?.. they’re all kinda interesting though..


3006 is the **** though, so many boxes and choices it’s ****ing number 1 and I don’t have a rifle in it anymore.

I might get another semi 3006 in the future hopefully more refined than what’s out there now.

i would take the info from a wal-mart clerk with a glup of salt.

i would call and verify with gun shops vs believing the clerk outright.

i'll put it this way, the gun effects store down here in Socal is doing their big parking lot ammo sale in 2 weeks. (June 21-22) so apparently it isn't no ammo sales in CA.

it is probably no ammo sales at that wal-mart

Note.....I said until further notice.....that did not mean forever at any place that sells Ammunition. For all I know the DOJ could have given them the okedoke as I was waking out the door. And for the record, the people that work at the Simi Walmart Sporting Goods/Ammo Counter are up to speed on the laws. They are the only people that have been there when I go in. That is not to say every Walmart is that way.
