Explain it all to the FFL. Maybe he, or one of his employees could ride with/follow you over to the lady’s house get her info and the gun and head back to the shop for the rest of paperwork.

Of course it’s gonna cost you something unless you are in good with the FFL, then it might cost lunch and a nice bottle of scotch or equivalent.
