    Sacramento FFL for Transfer

Can anyone recommend an FFL in the Sacramento area that would be willing to do a transfer with a mailed firearm?

I called around to check and so far no dice

I have used these guys for an out of state transfer, no issues and very good service:

    SHOOTIN SHACK GUNS
    3443 Laguna Blvd Ste 116
    Elk Grove, CA 95758
    Telephone: 916-684-4867

Found these guys in a search (never used them). They don't charge any transfer fees for out of state gun purchases according to their website.

I know a good one in Folsom. Check out loyalarms.com. It’s by appointment so I’m in and out in 10 minutes. And he’s the cheapest you will find.

I used to use the gun range, but they had a severe case of stupid run through their employees a couple years ago, and I haven’t set foot in there since.

Just remember it must be mailed from an FFL.

I thought Shootin Shack closed. Been losing so many in the area in such a short amount of time.

Loyal Arms is active on the forums here I believe

It may have, haven't been in there for a while. Always took care of me, too bad if it did.

Thanks for the tips. I’ll give a couple a call tomorrow so I can get the ball rolling.

Except they refuse to accept any handgun from out of state that is CAPABLE of taking a magazine greater than 10 rounds. Ask me how I know...

This^. I would check with them directly rather than accept SomeGuy's report. I can't imagine that they would not transfer an out-of-state CZ P01, for example.

The Gun Range has some other, more pressing matter to attend to at the moment. Be patient if you choose to utilize them for the transfer.
