Which means most pinned folding or collapsible stocks can be unpinned on registered AW's.
It also means that there is obviously no restrictions on reconfiguring of assault weapons beyond the illegal DOJ regulations in regards to the registration process much the chagrin of those that would argue that an AW needs to stay in the configuration that it was when it was photographed for registration.

You can not be arrested/charged for breaking a regulation.
You have yo be arrested for breaking a law.
Therefore, regulations need to have supporting laws.
Laws are listed in the penal code, vehicle code, health & safety code etc...

NOT having a supporting law makes a regulation illegal such as in the case of the requirement to retain the bullet button.
