They were on the street at the time, I saw the green/gold sherrifs vest thing at the last second. I guess owing to the difference in speed that they didn't get my plate because I never heard anything about it.. & owing to past indescretions on 2 wheels I'm not exactly unknown to the local sheriifs.. However, I should point out I've never got a ticket locally from them, but I have listened to a few rather pointed & somewhat heated lectures

I got pulled once on graduation night & I guess the cop thought I was some young kid who'd been out celebrating... When I took my helmet off his first works were "Jeeze, you're OLD!" Then he asked if I had a licence & insurance, I said yes, he said "Ok, take it easy old man" & drove off, didn't ask to look at the licence etc....I guess age has some merits....

You know how hard those primers are? You'd have to have a heckuva motorcycle accident to jar the firing pin that hard.

And yes, they are carried with an empty chamber so it doesn't "go off"

Torrance has mp5 .40's and is planning on switching to sbr ar's because the mp5's bolts are starting to fail.

I have pics of a few Stockton PD motor officers with HK UMP's mounted to their bikes. I'll have to dig them up. I think it was a SWAT guy assigned to motors though, I've never seen any other Stockton motor officers with UMP's.

It didn't take too long to change this into a cop bashing post.

It would be nice to see motor cops carrying Krinks with a side folding stock. Just sling over their shoulder like the Columbian bike cops.

I have an LEO buddy that rides motors and is on the SWAT team, he carries an MP5k in one of his hard sided saddle bags.
