Replacement Gen 2 PMAG Locking Plates

Anyone have a line on some Gen 2 Magpul PMAG locking plates?

Magpul doesn't sell them and Magazineblocks.com doesn't have any in stock.

I suppose I could make the Gen 3's work after a bit of modifying but I figured I'd ask first.
    Dear California,
I love you. I was born and raised in you. You have given me some of the best times of my life. Now with that said, I can not wait to move!

Did you ever figure this out? I pulled the blocks in some of my mags but the floor plate won't stay in place now.

I was missing a few on my gen 2s as well. I was using magazine blocks block so i cut the top off (left enough for spring to seat and such) and used their locking plate. Seems to work fine.
No idea where i put the locking plates. They werent with the rest. Odd.

If you haven’t converted your 10rd magazines to high cap before Friday, can you still do it?

No luck finding any Gen 2 lock plates so I'm just gonna buy and mod some M3 plates. I'll probably end up buying some of these Magpul Tactile Lock Plates. It'll be cheaper than buying these individual plates from magazineblocks.com.

I tested on an M3 plate I already own. I just trimmed a small notch into the front of the plate to roughly match the Gen 2

It'll fit now but the mag will probably only hold 28 rounds or so because of those little legs on the inside of the M3 plates. You'll have to cut them off and sand them flush.

                  Thanks for the link though

You can just trim the mag block too.

What type of blocks did your mags have? (assuming you've done this)

Mine were a strange (but clever) design by Riflegear and won't work.

The ones from magazineblocks.com could be trimmed with just the floor plate part of it left in place.

                          How many do you need?

Consider all those magblocks, you can trim the limiters to make them work

Sounded like trimming wouldn't work for the riflegear designed blocks (his response to me mentioning the same)
