Judge Benitez wrote his decision in such a way as to give a defense to appeal. Im sure the thought was not just to decide the case but to insure against challenge in a higher court. We need more well written and well thought out judgements.

Better find and use them quick because Cal will appeal on Monday to the 9th court and they are anti 2nd amendment. Then it will need to work it's way to the supreme court ---IF they will hear it.

The fact that this ruling came about during the slump of gun sales is a god send to some of these retailers. Some people are buying hundred if not thousands of dollars worth of inventory

Most online retailers do not keep inventory on hand and just drop ship from distributors. One distributor keeps a decent inventory count.I have only tracked M3 30 round pmags with that one so far and 4,000 have sold since Friday when it is usually 100 over the same time frame.

Bigger retailers that are more like distributors like Cabelas, PSA, grabagun, etc will have their own inventory. Since most retailers all use the same distributors and their virtual inventory is all linke dto those distributors if 1 place sells all 100 walther ppq m1 mags that all the retailers go out of stock.

Californians made a huge dent compared to a normal weekend but it is like 1% of when Obama called for a gun ban. All distributors were wiped out in hours. It is probably only Calgunners actually buying mags since most gun owners don't follow any gun news.

Was in Scheels [Sparks, NV) yesterday. In the few minutes I was there, I ran into three others from CA in the magazine section.one guy had so many mags in his cart, I thought he worked there and was stocking the shelves. I bought 20 myself and had to go to local shops looking for M&P9 mags.

And it is not just the magazines purchased... think about all of the magazines that people unblocked and all the "repair kits" that got assembled. Releasing this decision on a Friday afternoon was genius in that for at least three days we can find can buy, manufacture, import, and receive any and all magazines that we can get our hands on.

If Im not mistaken, 10+ has always been legal in featureless guns.

Maybe someone can shed some light. As I read it. And AW in CA is any center fire fixed mag rifle with a capacity of accepting more than 10rds.

So while were currently Golden for standard cap pistol mags and rifle mags should we use that pmag in our legal fixed mag AR’s we create an AW per CA definition.....we can buy them but can’t use them. Until CA redefines what constitutes an AW.

Anybody else see it how I’m reading it.
