    The BM is much easier to field strip compared to Ruger Mark 1,2 & 3. For BM, after 5 times field strips then it will be a walk in the park. For Ruger Mark 1,2 &3 I found it easy field strip after 20 times. Hey, I am a slow learner, heh!

    And for whoever complain about the recoil spring C-ring and plastic buffer piece, the sight plate front & rear screws wear out. Just call Browning and order those parts for spare, just couple bucks. Order: 2 C-rings, 2 plastic buffers, 2 front screws and 2 rear screws and don't forget 2 extractors from Volquartsen then you have enough parts to keep your BM going for life time.

      +1 for not disassembling and running a bore snake.

      I really disliked unscrewing it.

        I run the bore snake every 250 rounds or so and give it a good cleaning of whatever is visible when I get home. It seems to love remoil.

        I've had several days it's had well over 500 rounds through it in a day.

        I've got around 5,000 rounds through it and see no reason to break it down. Nothing feels gritty or off.

        I may be in the wrong, but I don't intend to take it apart unless I see/hear/feel a reason.

          I'm at 500 rds and haven't field stripped it yet;
          put it in bucket with rag at bottom and gave it
          a good bath in Birchwood Casey Gun Scrubber

          I'm avoiding the inevitable, I know
