Securing a gun safe.

best way to secure it is make sure it's not obviously a safe, for one of my friends we found a u-haul box big enough to fit over it and labeled it holiday decorations.

can someone with a truck pull in your driveway and yank that safe with a tow package ? always wonder if the garage is the safest place for a safe, I would put it on the second floor.

Second floor? More chance of fire/smoke damage and no concrete to bolt it down to.

This might be FUD, but...
Some fire dept. see you have a safe on the second floor they will leave your place and watch it burn. to dangerous to walk underneaith the load.
